BENCH WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police picked up Barbra J. Goodreau, 24, of 2274 state Route 420, Massena, on a St. Lawrence County Court bench warrant for an alleged probation violation at 9:03 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Lawrence County Probation Office in Massena. Goodreau was transported to St. Lawrence County Court for arraignment.



CRIMINAL CONTEMPT - MASSENA - Village police charged Emily H. Underwood, 17, of 10 Grassmere Ave., Massena, with secoind-degree criminal contempt at 4:57 p.m. Tuesday following an investigation into an incident that took place after school at Massena Central High School. Underwood violated an order of protection that prohibits her from having contact with another high school age female when she walked up to the young woman, who was engaged in a conversation with another person and stated she had kicked her ... She was released on an appearance ticket for Massena Village Court.

Village police chad also charged Underwood with second-degree criminal contempt at 5:10 p.m. Nov. 28 after she allegedly violated the no contact order of protection when she sent a text and photo to that same female earlier in the month. She was arraigned by Acting Massena Village Justice James M. Crandall on that charge and released under the supervision of the probation department.

She had been charged in July with third-degree assault after she allegedly struck a 16-year-old female in the head during an incident July 9 at J. William Leary Junior High School.

Underwood was charged in September with second-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment. Police alleged that Underwood physically harassed and threatened another person who is a protected party on a court-issued order of protection.



OUT OF RESTRICTIONS - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Frederick J. Barse, 35, of Massena for driving out of restrictions, operation of a vehyicle with no plate lamp and operation of an uninspected motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 11:06 p.m. Tuesday on East Orvis Street.



SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Alyssa Leanne Clark, 21, of Massena for speed in zone following a traffic stop at 10-:38 p.m. Tuesday on Bayley REoad.



RED LIGHT - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Alexandra Jullian Parker, 22, of Ocala, Fla., for illegally passing a red light following a traffic stop at 8:22 p.m. Tuesday on Bayley Road at East Orvis Street.



FAILURE TO YIELD - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Marshall L. Enders, 38, of Massena for failure to yield the right of way at a green light at 6:18 p.m. Tuesday on Main at Andrews Sttreet.



AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - MASSENA - Village police charged Darrin O. Crump, 22, of 49 1/2 Maple St., Lot 18, Massena, with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 4:57 p.m. Tuesday on Maple Street. He was also ticketed for for failure to keep right, operation of an unregistered motor vehicle and operation of a vehicle with no insurance.



SUSPENDED REGISTRATION - MASSENA - Village police charged Whitney P. McDermott, 72, of 463 Cold Springs Road, Bombay, with operatiuon of a vehicle with a suspended registration and ticketed him for a stop sign violation and operation of a vehicle with inadequate brake lights and no headlight at 4:58 a.m. Tuesday on state Route 37.



CORRECTION - MASSENA - Village police incorrectly reported the name of a driver ticketed for speed in zone on Sept. 24. The driver should have been listed as Sean P. Dempsey, 22, of 1467 County Route 22, North Bangor.
