■ CRANBERRY LAKE — Residents of Cranberry Lake Fire District will vote from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the fire hall for one five-year commissioner.

n The Watertown City Council has appointed Kenneth A. Mix, the city’s planning and community development coordinator, as the city’s representative to the Watertown Local Development Corp.

n DEXTER — The General Brown Central School District Board of Education monthly meeting, originally scheduled for Monday, has been rescheduled for 5 p.m. Dec. 17 in the cafeteria of the junior-senior high school, 17643 Cemetery Road.

n FORT DRUM — The Fort Drum Connector will be opened to traffic during the morning on Thursday, according to the state Department of Transportation. The route is scheduled to be fully open by the end of the day. Drivers are reminded to exercise caution with the new travel patterns.
