HEUVELTON — The village is celebrating its 100th anniversary on Dec. 29. The schedule of events is as follows:

7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. - Breakfast fundraiser at the Heuvelton Volunteer Fire Department.

1 p.m. to 3 p.m. - Sledding and cocoa at the Methodist Church.

3:30 p.m. - Dedication of the Time Capsule in Murdock Park.

4:35 p.m. - Birthday cake, hot chocolate and music at Pickens General Store.

6 p.m. - Parade down Main Street with complimentary hot chocolate at three stations along the parade route.

7 p.m. - Heuvelton school chorus singing at Pickens General Store.

7:35 p.m. - Heuvelton Central School Band performing at Pickens General Store.

8 p.m. Fireworks show. No parking on Water Street.

8:30 p.m. More music at Pickens General Store, including The Acoustic Brothers and Blue Grass Music.
