Madrid - Shawn L. McGregor, 36, of 335 Regan Road, Norwood, was charged with passing a check with insufficient funds by state police at 9:15 a.m. Friday.

Mr. McGregor allegedly attempted to pass at $121.54 check at Main Street Market, Madrid.

He is scheduled to appear in Madrid Town Court.
