GRAND LARCENY - CANTON - Canton-based state police charged Andrew D. Stiles, 31, of Canton with third-degree grand larceny and first-degree falsifying business records Wednesday stemming from an incident reported at 9:38 a.m. from the city of Syracuse. He was arraigned and sent to jail.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - CANTON - State police around the region investigated a number of property damage accidents Wednesday and early Thursday morning. Among those were:

■ Amanda L. Kerr, 24, of Massena and Yashira M. Rosario, 25, of Ozone Park were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 12:51 a.m. Thursday on state Route 37, near County Route 41, in the town of Louisville.

■ Stefan J. Charleston, 22, of Winthrop at 4:58 p.m. Wednesday on the Buckton Road, near County Route 47, in the town of Stockholm.

■ Brenda A. Fish, 54, of Moira and Joan S. Delorm, 66, of Massena were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 2:36 p.m. Wednesday on state Route 95 at County Route 4 in the town of Bombay.

■ Michael J. Durant, 56, of Winthrop at 8 a.m. Wednesday on County Route 49, near Barnage Road, in the town of Stockholm.
