SPEEDING - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed JohnPaul J. Tebo, 19, of Norwood for speed in zone (45/30) at 2:19 a.m. Friday on Sandstone Drive.



ONE INJURED - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police investigated a two-vehicle personal injury accident at 11:31 a.m. Friday on Route 11, near County Route 35, in the town of Potsdam. Troopers said the vehicles were operated by Mark G. Robertson, 50, of Potsdam and Madalyn Jane Griffin, 18, of Canton. Potsdam Rescue responded to the accident scene, where one injury was reported.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - INDIAN LAKE - Indian-based state police investigated a property damage accident at 2:37 p.m. Friday on state Route 28, near Lavergne Road, in the town of Indian Lake. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by David T. Britt, 64, of Potsdam.



UNAUTHORIZED USE - POTSDAM - Four Brasher Falls men were charged with unauthorized use of another’s license after police investigated a report that a group of individuals were throwing snowballs at a house on Main Street.

Village police also charged Brady J. Helmer, 20; Kevin D. Logan, 20; Cody R. Kilcoyne, 20; and Charles E. Dullea, 20; with disorderly conduct at 3:09 a.m. Saturday on Main Street.

Police said they received a call from a resident on Main Street reporting that a group of individuals was throwing snowballs at their house and one of them had taken their shovel off their front porch. Police said patrols responded immediately and located the four men a short distance from the victim’s residence.

The shovel was recovered and Helmer was found to be in possession of an orange traffic flag that was taken from a stop sign at the intersection of Cedar Street. The four suspects were taken into custody and were transported to the Potsdam Police Department for processing. During processing it was discovered that each suspect was in possession of another’s license, showing that they were over the age of 21.

The four men were each released on appearance tickets for Jan. 16 in Potsdam Village Court.



WRONG WAY - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Bridget M. Wight, 20, of Canton for driving the wrong way down a one way street at 11:36 p.m. Saturday on Hamilton Street.



ONE INJURED - WESTVILLE - Malone-based state police said one person was injured in an accident at 12:22 p.m. Saturday on state Route 37, near the Mary O’Reilly Road, in the town of Westville. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by Cynthia J. Maldonado, 21, of Malone.



ONE INJURED - ST. REGIS FALLS - Massena-based state police said one person was injured in an accident at 12:39 p.m. Saturday on state Route 458, near Days Mill Road, in the town of Waverly. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by Kevin D. Talcott, 40, of Potsdam.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - CANTON - State police investigated a number of property damage accidents around the region on Saturday. The Weather Channel reported 3.2 inches of snow fell Saturday afternoon into evening in Potsdam. Among those were:

■ Francis W. Jarvis, 26, of Massena at 10:12 p.m. Saturday on state Route 37, near County Route 21, in the town of Westville.

■ Adam J. Widener, 18, of Canton and Kayla P. Viau, 22, of North Lawrence were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 1:44 p.m. on Flat Rock Road, near County Route 34, in the town of Potsdam.

■ Carlene M. McCargar, 55, of Potsdam and Timothy J. Orologio, 58, of Norwood were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 1:02 p.m. on Route 11, near the Potsdam-Morley Road, in the town of Potsdam.

■ Taylor John Chapman, 18, of Colton and Lorence W. Royce, 65, of Canton were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 12:58 p.m. on County Route 24, near Selleck Road, in the town of Pierrepont.

■ Keith T. Randall, 56, of Potsdam and Anne M. Snell, 33, of Potsdam were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 12:24 p.m. on Pumpkin Hill Road, near Birch Road, in the town of Parishville.
