Second arrest in brass theft

A Felts Mills man was charged by state police Wednesday afternoon with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property in connection with a burglary Oct. 19 in which brass casings were stolen from a vacant house in the town of Watertown.

Dillon M. Ashley, 18, of 30660 Route 3, is ordered to appear in town of Watertown court. He is the second person charged in the investigation. Robert M. Reczko, 24, of 17481 Route 11, Lot 42, town of Watertown, as jailed Tuesday on a burglary charge.

The intrusion and theft occurred at 17482 Route 11 on property owned by Mr. and Mrs. Michael E. Gogoe, Dexter.

The two men are also co-defendants on grand larceny charges involving the theft of an all-terrain vehicle, gas range and refrigerator in the town of Lorraine. Arrests in the case were made in October.
