CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - POTSDAM - Village police charged Genevieve R. Ramsay, 24, of Potsdam with fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree assault at 3:25 a.m. Saturday following an investigation into a domestic dispute on Riverside Drive. She allegedly broke a cellular phone and bit a male on the arm.

SPEEDING - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Michael A. Reid, 42, of Clay for speed in zone (49/30) at 10:30 a.m. Saturday following a traffic stop on Maple Street.

FOLLOWING TOO CLOSELY - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Charles D. Kemek, 19, of Willetfor following too closely at 6:17 p.m. Saturday following an investigation into property damage accident on Maple Street at the entrance to Cheel Arena.

0916 Clarkson Security reports a broken window, where someone gained entry into a building on campus.

1001 Report of three or four dogs running loose in the vicinity of Harrington Court.

1003 Traffic stop on Main Street. Verbal warning issued.

1030 Patrol completed a traffic stop on Maple Street after observing a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. Ticket issued.

1118 An equipment inspection completed for a brake light ticket received in Stockholm.

1130 Property found and turned into Potsdam PD. Property has been returned to the owner.

1246 Potsdam Rescue and patrol dispatched to Lower Pine Street for a female complaining of severe back pain.

1317 Potsdam Fire and Patrol dispatched to Clarkson University’s Woodstock Bldg 3 for an alarm activation.

.1323 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to Midtown Apartments.

1605 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to Haggerty Drive.

1623 Received report of a lost NYS driver’s license. DMV Lost License form completed.

1817 Report of a two-vehicle accident on Maple Street at entrance to Cheel Arena.Patrol dispatched.

Investigation revealed that Charles D. Kemek, age 19 of Willet, NY, at fault for following too close. Mr. Kemek was issued a traffic summons for same returnable in Potsdam Village Court on 1/30/2013 at 0800.

2103 Dispatched Potsdam Rescue to a call.

2146 Patrol responded to a parking complaint on Bay Street.

2306 Traffic stop on Maple Street - Verbal warning issued
