ADAMS — The South Jefferson Central School District will discuss the safety of students at a public forum at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the auditorium of South Jefferson High School, 11060 Route 11.

During the forum, school officials will discuss the district’s safety measures, along with proposals such as implementing a new safety plan, creating a single point of entry for the school and changing how the district works with the mental health needs of students.

Questions about the forum may be addressed by calling the district office at 583-6104.

The forum will be followed by the district’s regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting.
