The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Jefferson County has developed a wish list of items it needs to care for animals.

Cleaning supplies include laundry detergent, bleach, dish soap, paper towels, glass cleaner, large kitchen and black garbage bags and sponges. Pet supplies include cat litter, canned cat food, cat toys, Kuranda beds, cat and small dog carriers, dog collars, leashes and metal food bowls.

Office supplies include ink cartridges, copy paper, mailing labels, stamps, pens and markers, Wite-Out and transparent tape. Surgical supplies include latex-free and rubber gloves, rubbing alcohol, distilled water, gauze pads, cotton balls and cotton swabs.
