Watertown police arrested Scott M. Warner Sr., 31, of 665 Olive Street, Apt. 1, at 2:11 a.m. Sunday on charges of fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment.

Police said that while arguing with his wife, Natasha M., earlier in the day, Mr. Warner hit a microwave, causing the glass to break. He also is accused of slapping his wife once on the ear and three times on the head.

He was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, where he was held pending arraignment in Watertown City Court.
