AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - MASSENA - Village police charged William J. Love Jr., 52, of 15 Cedar St., Massena, with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and ticketed him for speed in zone at 3:04 p.m. Monday following a traffic stop on East Orvis Street.



CELL PHONE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Kevin L. Strader, 41, of County Route 43, Massena, with using a cell phone while operating a motor vehicle at 1:57 p.m. Tuesday following a traffic stop on Parker Avenue.



UNINSPECTED MOTOR VEHICLE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Murray M. Lauzon, 29, of County Route 1, Bombay, for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle at 9:04 a.m. Tuesday following a traffic stop on East Orvis Street.



RED LIGHT VIOLATION - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Angus J. Lamora Jr., 35, of Massena for illegally passing a red light at 3 a.m. Tuesday following a traffic stop on state Route 37 near Grove Street.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - NORTH LAWRENCE - State police from around the region investigated several property damage accidents on Monday, a day that featured show, sleet and freezing in many areas. Among those were:

■ Joseph N. St. Hilaire, 55, of North Lawrence at 9:33 p.m. on County Route 55, near West Cotter Road, in the town of Brasher.

■ Tyler J. Harnish, 29, of Brasher Falls at 7:49 p.m. on County Route 38, near Brothers Road, in the town of Norfolk.



UNINSPECTED MOTOR VEHICLE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed C.P. Bertrand, 35, of Massena for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle at 4:38 p.m. Monday following a traffic stop on East Orvis Street.



INADEQUATE STOP LAMP - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Mary L. Hall, 55, of Massena for operation of a vehicle with inadequate stop lamps at 1 p.m. Monday following a traffic stop on Main Street.



UNINSPECTED MOTOR VEHICLE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Jana M. Perryman, 57, of Massena for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle at 12:45 p.m. Monday following a traffic stop on Glenn Street.



DWI - PARISHVILLE - Canton-based state police charged Frederick G. Beha, 47, of Parishville with driving while intoxicated and ticketed her for failure to keep right at 8:40 p.m. Monday following a traffic stop on state Route 72 in the town of Parishville.



UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - LOUISVILLE - Massena-based state police charged Joshua D. Moore, 31, of Calcium with unlawful possession of marijuana at 8:30 p.m. Monday following a stop on Route 37 in the town of Louisville.



UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - LISBON - Ogdensburg-based state police charged Tina L. Hanna, 51, of Massena with unlawful possession of marijuana and failure to obey a police officer at 6:30 p.m. Monday following an incident on state Route 37 in the town of Lisbon.



RESISTING ARREST - POTSDAM - Village police charged Martin R. Maurer, 30, of Potsdam with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest at 10:30 a.m. Monday following an investigation into an incident at 3:15 a.m. on New Year’s Day at a Market Street bar. Maurer was involved in an altercation inside the establishment police said. Potsdam Police were called to respond to the location for an unruly person. When patrols arrived, Maurer was observed to be disorderly outside near the entrance and subsequently resisted their efforts to arrest him.



SPEEDING - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Louise S. Wheeler, 23, of Manchester, Vt., for speed in zone (47/30)at 1:09 p.m. Monday following a traffic stop on Maple Street. Police said they had initially observed her vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed east on Maple Street.
