Ogdensburg police were called Wednesday at Kennedy Elementary School, 801-809 Park St., to investigate the theft of a metal money box containing $15 in coins, including some wheat pennies.
According to the CoinTrackers website, a wheat penny is a classic iconic early 21st century American coin with a face value of 1 cent that was minted from 1909 to 1956.
