MORLEY - Two people were injured following a two-vehicle collision at 9:09 p.m. Tuesday on the Potsdam-Morley Road on a night when roads conditions around the county were challenging after freezing rain and wet snow fell in the area.

St/ Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies said John G. Kramer, 73, of 5834 County Route 24, Canton, was traveling northwest on the Morley-Potsdam Road when he lost control of his vehicle, crossed into the oncoming lane and struck a vehicle operated by Nicholas J. Deon, 26, of 55 McGinnis Road, Norwood. Kramer and a passenger in his vehicle were transported to Canton-Potsdam Hospital by Potsdam Rescue for treatment of minor injuries. Police were assisted at the scene by Potsdam Fire.
