There are no calling hours and no services scheduled at this time for 75-year old Mrs. Linda Hotaling of Norfolk. Arrangements are with the Seymour Funeral Home in Potsdam. Mrs. Hotaling died Sunday, February 24th at Massena Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, Hilton Herschel Hotaling, Sr. of Norfolk, three daughters: Darsi Lou Kendrick Crane and her husband Lonnie Crane, Quincie Sue Fuller, and Serena Mercedes Hotaling Moulton and her husband Michael Moulton. Also surviving are two sons: Clyde Dana Kendrick and Lorren David Hotaling and his wife Sally. There are 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, ywo nephews, Jeffery and Gregory Hartlieb, and a niece, Eden-Paul Patricia Jennings also surviving.

Linda was born in Detroit Michigan on January 2, 1938 the daughter of Ansgar George Hartlieb and Patricia Blanche (Morgan) Hartlieb. She graduated from Harper Woods High School in June of 1956. A marriage to Clyde Emerson Kendrick on August 11, 1958 in Detroit ended in divorce after 11 years. She married Hilton H. Hotaling, Sr. on August 22, 1969.

Linda was predeceased by a son, Grant Emerson Kendrick; her parents, a step-father Lorenzo Charles MeDonald, a brother, David Waldemar Hartlieb; and a sister Martha Sue Hartlieb Warren.

North American Van Lines Palmer Moving and Storage Co., Detroit, MI employed Linda directly after high school as a bookkeeper. She later moved to New York and worked for several CPA’s and later taking a position with Massena Central School where she worked as Treasurer and Principal Account Clerk for 20 years.

Reading was her main hobby throughout her life. She was a most beloved wife and mother.
