MASSENA - An article in the Feb. 26 issue incorrectly reported Supervisor Joseph D. Gray had been unaware of discussions on the possibility of converting Massena Memorial Hospital into a private, nonprofit entity.

Mr. Gray said Tuesday he had been made aware of discussions about converting the municipal hospital into a private, not-for-profit facility. The reporter had asked Mr. Gray if he was aware of discussions about turning the facility into a for profit hospital.

The article also incorrectly identified the chairman of the Massena Memorial Hospital Board of Managers. It is Andrew Spanburgh.

Mr. Gray said he was made aware of the discussions about a month ago.
