DWAI - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Gregory M. Oakes, 24, of Moira with driving while ability impaired and ticketed him for failure to keep right followimng a traffic stop at 2:50 a.m. Tuesday on County Route 37 in the town of Brasher.

FELONY DWI - FORT COVINGTON - Malone-based state police charged Chad M. St. Ann, 32, of Brushton with felony driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated and ticketed him for making an unsafe lane change and a seat belt violation Monday following an investigation into an accident that took place at 5:52 p.m. Nov. 13 in the town of Fort Covington. The felony charges alleges he had a prior driving while intoxicated conviction within the prior 10 years. A DWI charge is elevated to aggravated DWI when the blood alcohol content is 0.18 percent or higher.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - LOUISVILLE - Massena-based state police reported Tuesday they had charged Cohan M. Carr, 17, of Massena with unlawful possession of marijuana at 9:35 p.m. Feb. 28 following a stop on Route 37 in the town of Louisville.

ONE INJURED - POTSDAM - One person was reportedly injured in a two-vehicle collision at 10:23 a.m. Monday on Route 11 at County Route 35 in the town of Potsdam. Troopers said the vehicles were operated by Timothy E. Joubert, 37, of Canton and Stephen L. Gaurin, 48, of Canton.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - MASSENA - State police responded to a number of property damage accidents around the region on Monday and early Tuesday morning. Among those were:

■ Jeffrey W. Joubert, 35, of Ogdensburg at 1:55 a.m. Tuesday on Route 37, near Haverstock Road, in the town of Massena.

■ Linda A. Fefee, 57, of Brushton at 5:20 a.m. Tuesday on state Route 420, near Mahoney Road, in the town of Stockholm.

■ John E. Finnegan, 77, of Moira and David E. Strattman, 54, of Brushton were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 11 a.m. Monday on Route 11 at County Route 51 in the town of Malone.

■ Michael J. Miles, 23, of Malone and Gibson O. Manson, 26, of Fort Covington were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 5:08 p.m. Monday on Route 11 at the Malone Wal-Mart parking lot.
