DISORDERLY CONDUCT - MASSENA - Three men were charged with disorderly conduct early Sunday morning after police responded to a complaint to fights outside the Hotel Nadeau and a large crowd that was acting unruly. Village police charged Raymond Perkins Sr., 44, of 228 Barnhart Road, Massena; Michael J. Lucey, 33, of 137 North Main St., Massena; and Enrique Rodriguez, 23, of 75 Beach St., Massena; with disorderly conduct at 2 a.m. Sunday on Andrews Street. Police said Rodgiguez continued to shout obscenities after police arrived on the scene and issued fight challenges to several people in the crowd. They said Lucey struck Rodriguez during that period. Perkins reportedly was upset his son was handcuffed while police were investigating the altercations and started shouting obscenities and yelling at police officers attempting to quell the disturbance. State police assisted village police during the incident.



OPEN CONTAINER - MASSENA - Village police charged several people with open container violations early Sunday morning and late Saturday after they were observed on village streets and sidewalks with open containers of alcohol. They included:

■ Joshua J. McDermott, 30, no address provided, at 1:31 a.m. on Andrews Street.

■ Raymond Perkins Sr., 44, of 228 Barnhart Road, Massena, at 1:11 a.m. on Andrews Street.

■ Jessica L. Regan, 27, of 9 Maple Road, Norfolk, at 1:05 a.m. on Andrews Street.

■ Ryan D. Morrill, 22, of 9 Cummings St., Massena, at 1:01 a.m. on Andrews Street.

■ Timothy L. LaMay, 38, of 1597 County Route 36, Norfolk, at 11:45 p.m. on Danforth Place.



UNINSURED MOTOR VEHICLE - MASSENA - Village police charged Stephanie A. Badder, 19, of 34 Colgate Drive, Massena, with operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and operation of a vehicle with a suspended registration and ticketed her for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operation of a vehicle with no headlights after dusk following a traffic stop at 8:40 p.m. Saturday on Main Street.



SUSPENDED REGISTRATION - MASSENA - Village police charged Amber S. Cook, 29, of Hogansburg with operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and operation of a vehicle with no insurance following a traffic stop at 8 p.m. Saturday on Andrews Street.



HARASSMENT - MASSENA - Village police picked up Charles R. Murdie, 32, of 100 Woodlawn Ave., Massena, at 7:25 p.m. Saturday on a criminal summons charging him with second-degree harassment stemming from a domestic dispute incident on Jan. 23. Murdie was reportedly walking on North Main Street with Katie Mattison when they engaged in a verbal dispute near the Donaldson Funeral Home. During that argument, Murdie reportedly punched Ms. Mattison in the back of the head.



SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Andy E. Maslin, 46, of County Route 44, Norfolk for speed in zone (48/30) following a traffic stop at 8:30 a.m. Saturday on East Hatfield Street.



TREPASSING - MASSENA - Robert J. Mackerer, 43, of 387 S. Main St., Apt. 4 , Massena, was charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct and unlawful possession of marijuana by village police at 6:43 a.m. Saturday.

His girlfriend was staying at the home of her ex-boyfriend at 492 S. Main St,. Apt. #1, and Mr. Mackerer attempted to enter the apartment without permission, according to police.

When police arrived he was allegedly intoxicated and kicking and pounding on the door while screaming.

Police said they found marijuana in his pockets.

He is scheduled to appear in Massena Village Court.



DWI - MASSENA - Village police charged Allen P. Dixon, 35, of Ashland City, Tenn., with driving while intoxicated and ticketed him for failure to keep right and speed in zone following a stop at 12:32 a.m. Saturday on Parker Avenue. Dixon reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.21 percent. more than double the legal limit.



STOP SIGN - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Stewart M. Deshane, 34, of Smith Road, Brasher Iron Works, for failure to stop at a stop sign, operation of an uninspected motor vehicle and operation of a vehicle with an inadequate plate lamp following a traffic stop at 8:36 p.m. Friday on Willow Street.



SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed James T. Lafave, 48, of Massena for speed in zone following a traffic stop at 5:47 p.m. Friday on the Willow Street Extension.
