TWO INJURED - WINTHROP - Two drivers were transported to Canton-Potsdam Hospital Tuesday afternoon for treatment of injuries they received in a two-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon on state Route 420 in the town of Stockholm.
Winthrop-based state police said a vehicle operated by Garrett W. Macy, 34, of Converse Road, Fort Jackson, was northbound on state Route 420 when he attempted to pull into a driveway and drove into the path of a southbound vehicle on Route 420 being operated by Tara L. Dickinson, 31, of County Route 38, Norfolk.
Macy was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way. He was transported to Canton-Potsdam Hospital by Tri-Town Rescue with a complaint of chest pain.
Ms. Dickinson was also transported to Canton-Potsdam Hospital by Tri-Town Rescue for treatment of chest and neck pain.
Troopers were assisted at the accident scene by Brasher-Winthrop Fire.
