RAPE - BRASHER FALLS - Massena-based state police charged Bruce R. Love, 34, of Brasher Falls with third-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child late Wednesday morning following an investigation into an incident reported to troopers at 7:52 p.m. March 5 from the town of Brasher. Troopers said the victim in the alleged sex crime was under 17 years of age. Love was reportedly arraigned in local court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - BOMBAY - Malone-based state police investigated a one-vehicle accident at 7:52 p.m. Wednesday on Reardon Road, near Scanlon Road, in the town of Bombay. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by Robert H. Tuper, 55, of Bombay.
ASSAULT - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police charged Richard A. Christy, 18, of Ogdensburg with third-degree assault Wednesday evening on River Road in the town of Norfolk. Troopers said the charge stemmed from an incident reported to troopers at 10:20 p.m. Feb. 18.
NO INSURANCE - MASSENA - Village police charged Daniel R. Grant, 23, of 27 Park Ave., Massena, with operation of a vehicle with a suspended registration and no insurance following a traffic stop at 6:07 p.m. Wednesday on Park Avenue.
STOP SIGN - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Kristaleen Lalone, 40, of Massena with a stop sign violation following a traffic stop at 2:56 p.m. Wednesday on Grove Street near Ridgewood Avenue.
