CANTON - Renewal House will be hosting its 20th annual Mothers Day 5K Fun Run/Walk May 11at the Remington Recreation Trail located at the Partridge Run Golf Course, Sullivan Drive, in Canton.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a starting time of 9 a.m. The entry fee is $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. An aluminum sports water bottle will be given away to the first 75 registered participants.
One grand prize will be given to the person who collects the most money. That prize is a Dyson DC33 multi floor vacuum cleaner, donated by Sears in Potsdam. There will be a prize for the first runner; man, woman, boy/girl (12 and under) who cross the finish line. YES FM and Q-Country will broadcast live, and refreshments will be provided.

Renewal House is a not-for-profit agency committed to providing services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault throughout St. Lawrence County. Renewal House provides 24-hour crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, personal and legal advocacy, children/youth services, safe housing, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE) program, community education/training, and basic information and referral. Renewal House reached 861 victims last year through these various services.
