Armen Bogosian, 82, passed away on Memorial Day, May 27, 2013 in Syracuse, NY surrounded by her loving family. A private family service will be held at the Phillips Memorial Home with Rev. Armen Ishkanian, from Montreal, officiating with interment to follow at Massena Center Cemetery. Surviving Armen is her husband Haig “Ike” of nearly 63 years; four sons, Stephen and his wife Meg of Syracuse, NY; John and his wife Nancy of Massena, NY, Garvis and his wife Susan of Massena, NY, and Haig “Ike” and his wife Vicky of Massena, NY; thirteen grandchildren, Matthew, Benjamin, Charles, Maggie, Elizabeth, Grace, David, John, Steven, Ashley, Ike, Aaron, and Zachary; and one great grandchild, Bryan. She is also survived by her brother, Armenag Topouzian, of Bloomfield, Michigan and several nieces and nephews. Mrs.

Bogosian was born March 4, 1931, the daughter of Mihran Topouzian and Varsenig Pashayan in Utica, NY. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Haig “Ike” Bogosian on Sunday, July 2, 1950 at Grace Church in Utica, NY. The couple then moved to Massena, NY where both operated a family dry cleaning business from 1950 to 1965. Together, they co-owned and operated Bogosian Carpet and BC Cleaning from 1965 to 2013. Mrs. Bogosian’s passion and pride was her family. She enjoyed cooking Armenian cuisine every day for her family. She traveled throughout the U.S. and Canada with her husband to attend every sporting event her children and grandchildren participated in.

Her strength, her love, and her life, she graciously gave us. We are blessed.
