To The Editor:
I have to admit when Im wrong and yes I was wrong in my letter of Aug. 2, there is no law that I can find that says I have a right to speak at a village board meeting. So I will apologize to Mayor Yugartis on the note.
I should never, as I learned, type in anger and frustration, in a knee jerk reaction. Thats what our governor did when he passed the safe act, but I can be the bigger man and admit to my mistake
I did, however, find a stipulation that says if one person is allowed 10 minutes then all should be allowed a like time to speak or to not have comments at all.
Again Mr. Mayor, I apologize for typing out of turn and using assumption instead of solid research.
I will stand by the rest of my letter and say that the board should stand by its people, whether a large majority or a small minority, the people are what count. All the people, including our gun owners, this is an area of hunters, sportsmen and sportswomen, support them Mr. Yugartis, show that you care about all the people in your town.
