MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT - HOPKINTON - Canton-based state police said one man was injured following a motorcycle accident at approximately 12:30 p.m. Sundayon White Hill Road in the town of Hopkinton.
Troopers said Damon Roberts of Montreal, Que., was operating a 2012 Yamaha motorcycle south on White Hill Road when he lost control on a curve in the road. Roberts drove off the west shoulder and was ejected from his motorcycle. Roberts was transported to the Canton-Potsdam Hospital for treatment of multiple injuries.
He was ticketed for unsafe speed.
HARASSMENT - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Stephen G. Olmstead, 32, of Waddington with second-degree harassment, fourth-degree criminal mischief and resisting arrest after responding at approximately 11:30 p.m. Monday to a report of a domestic dispute at a residence on Franklin Road.
Olmsteadreportedly caused damage to a vehicle, which belonged to a third party at the residence, and also grabbed and pushed an individual at that residence, troopers said.
When Troopers advised Olmstead he was under arrest, they said he actively resisted.
Olmstead was arraigned in Waddington Town Court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $2,000 cash or $4,000 bond.
ASSAULT - CANTON - Canton-based state police charged Wade S. Reid, 45, of Canton with assault Sunday morning following an investigation into a domestic dispute reported at 9:10 p.m. Sunday in the town of Canton.
PETIT LARCENY - MOIRA - Malone-based state police charged Jeffrey S. Robinson, 22, of Chateuagay with petit larceny following an investigation into a larceny complaint reported at 1:54 p.m. Monday from the town of Moira.
