CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - MASSENA - A Massena teenager reportedly upset because a friend had parked in his driveway went on a rampage Saturday that ended with a stay at the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
Village police charged Norman R. Rochefort, 19, of 221 Andrews St., Massena, with endangering the welfare of a child, fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment and resisting arrest.
Rochefort reportedly became angry when his mother. Terri L. Leggue, told him he needed to calm down. He responded by punching holes in the wall, throwing a coffee mug against the living room wall and throwing his mothers Kindle.
Police said a one-year-old child was present during the outburst. They also said Rochefort resisted when they were attempting to handcuff him.
He was being arraigned by Acting Massena Village Justice James M. Crandall and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond.
