POTSDAM State police arrested Darik M. Bradish, 19, of Potsdam Tuesday and charged him with a felony driving while intoxicated due to prior convictions in the last 10 years.
At approximately 1 a.m. state police and Potsdam Police responded to a one-vehicle motor vehicle accident on Route 11, where a 1981 GMC pickup that had been allegedly traveling westbound drove off the north shoulder of the road, striking a curb and then an embankment. The operator had fled the scene.

Bradish was also charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and unlawful possession of alcohol of a person under 21 years of age. He was also issued traffic tickets for leaving the scene of a property damage accident, refusal to take a breath test, failure to use designated lane, and uninspected motor vehicle.
Mr. Bradish was arraigned in Potsdam Court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
