CHASE MILLS: Andy L. Maslin Jr. 69 of County Route 44 passed away on Dec. 1, 2013 at Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Friends and family may be received on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Phillips Memorial Home in Massena. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 at 9:00 am, viewing will start at 8:00 am at Massena Baptist Church in Massena. Interment will be in the family plot in Chase Mills. Andy was born in Endicott, NY on March 12, 1944 the son of Andy L. and Beatrice (Courson) Maslin. He proudly served in the US Army an alter Army Reserves. He was employed for six years in Raymond Works, as a fork lift inspector. In 1982 they relocated to the North Country, where he owned and operated Rustic Furniture Manufacturing with his sons. Andy was best known for his love for the Lord. Andy married Donna Ingraham on March 26, 1966 in Triangle, NY she predeceased him on July 26, 2008. Andy is survived by his five sons, Andy E. and wife Kathy J. Maslin of Norfolk, Darian L. and Stacy of Raymondville, NY; David A. and Cassandra of Chase Mills, Daniel and Denise of Massena, Aaron Maslin of Chase Mills and Melissa of Norfolk, 18 grandchildren, a brother and two sisters, Eddy Maslin of Whitney Point, Bernetta Ward of Lyle, NY, Regina Welch, NC, several nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was predeceased by a son Allyn L. Maslin at age four.
