Williams, 20, both of the Bronx, with petit larceny at 5:50 p.m. Sunday at the Walmart Supercenter in Potsdam. They were released on the own recognizance, to reappear Thursday in Potsdam Town Court.
CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - MALONE - Malone-based state police charged Michael T. Neff, 28, of Hogansburg with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and first-degree possessing dangerous contraband in prison at 4:53 a.m. Monday at the Franklin County Jail. He was ordered held on $5,000 bail.
UNAUTHORIZED USE - CANTON - Canton-based state police charged Teresa M. Johnson, 21, of Akwesasne, Que., with unauthorized use of a vehicle without the owners consent at 2 a.m. Monday at the St. Regis Tribal Police Department. The charge stems from an incident reported to troopers at 9:59 a.m. Nov. 24 from the town of Canton. She was ordered held.
MARIJUANA POSSESSION - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Calvin J. Maxfield, 33, of Massena with unlawful possession of marijuana and ticketed him for a license plate violation at 5:12 p.m. Sunday on state Route 37B, Massena. He was released on an appearance ticket.
ACCIDENT - FORT COVINGTON - Malone-based state police investigated a one-vehicle property damage accident at 2:43 p.m. Sunday on Buell Road, Fort Covington. The vehicle was operated by John R. Snyder, 32, of Brushton.
