PUBLICS ASSISTANCE SOUGHT - CANTON - The New York State Police in Canton are seeking the publics assistance with the investigation of a fatal hit and run collision that occurred at approximately 10:50 p.m. Dec. 23.
Any witness who observed a person operating a bicycle on County Route 27 in the town of Canton between the Meadows Restaurant and the St. Lawrence University campus between 9p.m. and 10:50 p.m. is asked to contact the New York State Police at 315-379-0012.
PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Dalton M. LaFlair, 18 of Ogdensburg with petit larceny after responding a shoplifting complaint at 2:31 p.m. Thursday at the Potsdam Walmart.
ONE INJURED - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police reported one person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 2:24 p.m. Thursday on state Route 345, near County Route 35, in the town of Potsdam. Troopers said the vehicle was being operated by Heather M. Cyr, 20, of Potsdam.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - MOIRA - State police responded to a number of property damage accidents around the region on Thursday. Among those:
