CANTON - Looking for an evening out that raises money for a worthy cause?

Renewal House is sponsoring a glass slipper ball, a purple tie event that’s scheduled from 8 p.m. to midnight Feb. 8.

The event will be at The Club restaurant, 25 Court St., and includes finger foods, cash bar, music provided by disc jockey Todd Truax, dancing, a photo booth and silent auction. Tickets are $30 a person until Jan. 8 and then $50 a person starting Jan. 9.

Tickets are available at Renewal House, 3 Chapel St., cash or check accepted. Proceeds will benefit victims of violence in St. Lawrence County.

Sposa Bella, 81 Main St., has agreed to donate to Renewal House 5 percent of any item purchased for the glass slipper ball such as dresses, shoes and jewelry.
