MASSENA: Kenneth R. Sucese, 88 of Pearson Road, Madrid and formerly of Massena died Saturday afternoon (January 11, 2014) at theCanton-Potsdam Hospital after being stricken at home. Family and friends are invited to call Thursday (January 16, 2014) morning starting at 10:00 am until the time of the services at the Phillips Memorial Home, Massena. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm at Church of Sacred Heart, Massena. Interment will be in the spring in Calvary Cemetery. Kenneth was born on June 23, 1925 in Massena the son of Albert and Alice (LaComb) Sucese. He briefly served in the US Army. Kenneth was employed at Alcoa and later started working at Cappione Distributors as alaborer. A marriage to Beatrice Campbell ended in divorce.

Kenneth is survived by three daughters; Judy, Sandra and Diane, his sisterin- law Rose Marie Sucese of Massena, nieces and nephews, and especially his chosen nephew Anthony Sucese with whom he lived with in Madrid. He was predeceased by brothers Robert, Donald, Jack, Darwin and Philip LaComb and sisters Helen Sucese in infancy and Shirleen Lavine. Kenneth was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1141where he was a 4th Degree. At one time he was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge.
