MARIJUANA POSSESSION - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police charged Dylan Y. Moses, 30, of Syracuse with first-degree criminal possession of marijuana following an incident at 3:22 p.m. Jan. 4. Moses was arraigned at Bombay Town Court and sent to the Franklin County Jail with bail set at $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond. He has since been released from custody and is scheduled to reappear Jan. 21 in Bombay Town Court.



STOP SIGN - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Ryan J. Labaff, 17, of Massena for a stop sign violation, driver’s view obstruction and failure to yield right of way following a traffic stop at 4:17 a.m. Jan. 3 on state Route 37.



UNREGISTERED VEHICLE - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Tiara M. Oakes, 29, of Akwesasne, Que., for operation of an unregistered vehicle following a traffic stop at 2:24 a.m. Jan. 4.



UNLICENSED DRIVER - AKWEASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Terry F. Johnson, 48, of Hogansburg for unlicensed driver, no rear mirror, operating in violations of restriction, inadequate headlight and inadequate tail lights following a traffic stop at 10:33 p.m. Jan. 4.



UNINSPECTED MOTOR VEHICLE - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Dyan J. Swamp, 56, of Akwesasne for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 1:16 p.m. Jan. 5.



STOP SIGN - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Danielle A. Oakes, 44, of Hogansburg for disobeying a traffic sign following a traffic stop at 11:50 a.m. Janu. 6 on Cook Road.



UNINSPECTED MOTOR VEHICLE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police have ticketed several people for for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle following traffic stops. The inspection sticker changed colors on Jan. 1. Among those ticketed were:

NO PASSING ZONE - AKWESASNE - ST. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Faith L. Thomas, 43, of Hogansburg for passing in a no pass zone following a traffic stop at 8:01 p.m. Jan. 7.



HYPODERMIC NEEDLE POSSESSION - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police charged Joshua D. Dow, 26, of Syracuse with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument following a traffic stop at 10:52 a.m. Jan. 7.



UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police charged Emily A. Bezner, 18, of Syracuse with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop at 10:52 a.m. Jan. 7.



SPEEDING - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Micheline Dupuis, 68, of Saint-Julienne, Que., for speed in zone following a traffic stop at 11:39 p.m. Jan. 8 after she was observed operating a vehicle at 50 mph in a posted 35 mph zone on state Route 37.



SPEEDING - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed David D. Darling of Maitland, Ont., for speed in zone following a traffic stop at 10:08 a.m. Jan. 9 after he was observed operating a vehicle at 50 mph in a posted 35 mph zone on state Route 37.



SPEEDING - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Todd M. Robinson, 26, of Nicholville for speed in zone following a traffic stop at 7:42 p.m. Jan. 9 after he was observed operating a vehicle at 50 mph in a posted 35 mph. zone while traveling on state Route 37.



SPEEDING - AKWEASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Leanne P. Armstrong, 35, of Hogansburg for speed in zone following a traffic stop at 9:10 p.m. Jan. 9 after she was observed operating a vehicle at 50 mph in a posted 35 mph zone on St. Regis Road..



AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police charged Devan M. Cooke, 19, of Fort Covington with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, false impersonation and driving while ability impaired by alcohol following a traffic stop at 3:16 p.m. Jan. 10. He was also ticketed for following too closely. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and sent to the Franklin County Jail with bail set at $500 cash or $1,000 bond. He was still incarcerated on Wednesday.



DRIVER’S VIEW OBSTRUCTION - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Brittany L. Delormier, 22, of Akwesasne, Ont., for driver’s view obstructed following a traffic stop at 1:44 p.m. Sunday.
