SPEEDING - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed John J. Vanbramer, 19, of Yonkers for speed in zone (45/30) following a traffic stop at 12:02 a.m. Sunday on Maple Street.

DWI - POTSDAM - Village police charged Ryan M. Brewer, 25, of Russell with driving while intoxicated and ticketed him fir failure to turn as required and speed in zone (49/30( following a traffic stop at 2:36 a.m. Sunday on Lawrence Avenue. He reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.14 percent.

FALSE PERSONATION - POTSDAM - Village police charged Kaitlyn M. Lavoie, 19, of Malone with false personation at 4 a.m. Sunday after they reportedly observed her walking on Market Street in the village with an open container. She was also charged with littering, an open container violation and unlawful possession of alcohol by person less than 21 after she threw the beverage on the ground.

When patrols approached her, she allegedly lied to the officer about her age and was found in possession of false identification.

She is scheduled to appear Jan. 31 in Potsdam Village Court.

Village police also charged Cullen M. Baines, 20, of Massena with littering, an open container violation and unlawful possession of alcohol by person less than 21 at 4 a.m. Sunday on Market Street. Police said he was also observed walking with an open container of an alcoholic beverage. He then threw the beverage on the ground.
