Members of the Potsdam Central girls basketball teams recently helped out at the Potsdam Youth Basketball Association’s 10th annual Shoutout Tournament. PYBA hosted 13 teams from local communities.

Each team that entered the tournament played three games. Using three courts, tournament officials staged 24 games in eight hours and Potsdam Centrals girls varsity, junior varsity and eighth-grade modified team played a large part in making sure the day went smoothly and all youth participants had a fun day. The girls ran the score clock, refereed, and promoted sportsmanship all day. Many of PCS players have been helping PYBA for a number of years. PYBA also offered thanks tovarsity coach George Gordon, JV coach Janelle Wingerter and Girls modified coaches Danielle Wilson and Jill Gaebel.
