PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Kathy L. Sharpstene, 57, of Ogdensburg with petit larceny after responding to a shoplifting complaint at 2:28 p.m. Tuesday at the Potsdam Walmart.



PETIT LARCENY - MALONE - Malone-based state police charged Yvonne M. Jock, 21, of Snye, Que., with petit larceny after responding to a shoplifting complaint at 8:38 p.m. Tuesday at the Malone Walmart.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - MASSENA - State police responded to a number of property damage accidents around the region Tuesday. Among those:

■ Darrin L. Corrigeux, 47, of Massena at 5:12 p.m. on Route 12, near Worden Road, in the town of Morristown.

■ Kimberly Mae Hunt, 48, of Potsdam at 6:50 a.m. on Route 11B, near Fisk Road, in the town of Lawrence.

■ Darryl A. Johnson, 26, of Brooklyn at 9:05 p.m. on Regan Flats Road, near Smith Road, in the town of Bombay.
