Temperatures might reach zero by Friday

MASSENA - Massena has tied a record low of 29 degrees below zero for Jan. 22 this morning, and the forecast is suggesting it is unlikely temeperatures will climb above 0 before Friday. A windchill advisory remains in effect until noon. The current windchill drops the real feel temperature into the 40 below zero range.

The National Weather Service says Artic air moving through the region has resulted in dangerous weather conditions. Temperatures are expected to drop back to the 20 to 25 below 0 range again tonight. Temperatures reached a low of -25 on Tuesday.
