Massena-Terry F. Murray, 61, of Jefferson Ave. Massena passed away unexpectedly at his home Wednesday morning (January 22, 2014). Friends and family are invited to call Monday (January 27, 2014) from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.at the Phillips Memorial Home. Funeral services for Terry will then be held Monday evening at the funeral home at 9:00 P.M. with The Rev. Mother Elizabeth Papazoglakis officiating. Internment will take place in the spring at Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Terry was born in Massena, on January 13, 1953 to the late Patricia (Murry) Ryan and Lyle Murray. Terry married his wife Joanne (Sharpe) on May 16, 1981 at St. John’s Episcopal Church with the Rev. George Easter officiating. Family is having friends and family gathering in between calling hours at the AmVets Post #4 on Andrews Street from 4-6:30 P.M. Terry is survived by his children Scott(Allison) Sharpe of Massena; Margo (Kenny) White of Burlington, IA; Jodi Mayette and Corey (Cherie) Murray of Massena. Alsosurviving Terry are his five brothers; Tommy (Donna) Murray, Sam (Sandy) Murray, Mark (Linda) Ryan, Denny Ryan, and Creig (Barbara) Donnelly all of Massena and two sisters; Roseanne Morin and companion Kevin Converse of Massena, and Judy (Wayne) Davis of Winthrop.10 grandchildren; Mackenzie and Phillip Sharpe, Raysean and Jania Harris, Rylan, Peyton and Quynne Murray, Ryan, Ali and Joey White, many nieces and nephews. Terry enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed the Casino, working on computers, and working on classic cars. Terry belonged to the Loyal Order the Moose Lodge, American Legion Post # 79, and AmVets Post # 4. Memorial contributions may be made in Terry’s honor to the Fletcher Allen Medical Center; 111 Colchester Ave, Burlington, VT 05401.
