NORWOOD - Norwood Public Library welcomes local author and photographer, Faye M. Martin, and her golden retriever, Katie, to read Faye’s book, ‘Quack, Quack, Quack: A Ducky Day at the Beach’ at the library’s StoryTime at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Children will have a chance to read to Katie as well, make ducky crafts, sing songs and enjoy a snack. A summer story for the middle of winter will brighten your day!

Faye M. Martin is the eldest child of Beatrice T. Martin and the late Everett N. Martin. Twenty years ago, she married Michael A. Short.

She has a passion for photography and enjoys kayaking, knitting, calligraphy, walking and caring for their three dogs, two golden retrievers, Katie and Jake and a Siberian Husky, Nadia. For the winter months she lives in Watertown and from May through September stays at their 5th wheel trailer parked at Stowe Bay Park in Colton.

More information can be found at www.norwoodnylibrary.org/storytime and on Facebook – www.facebook.com/NorwoodPublicLibraryNY. The Norwood Public Library is located at 1 Morton St., Norwood, on the corner of North Main and Morton streets.
