PARISHVILLE - Brushton-Moira gained an East Division sweep on the road over Parishville-Hopkinton in NAC boys basketball action on Wednesday.
The boys game saw the visiting Panthers race out to a 21-7 lead by the end of the first quarter as Adam Martin fired through a game-high 24 points followed by Alex Burnett with 12 and Taylor Tallman with seven.
Wyatt Snell and Mike Charleson netted five points each to pace P-H. Kobe Wells, Joe Curtis and Lucas Snell each scored four followed by Hunter Charleson with three while Mike Burns, Connor Sullivan and Mike Cook all finished with two.
In the girls game, the host Lady Panthers worked their way to an 11-9 lead by the end of the first quarter and were ahead 29-16 at the half before BMC stormed back to net the win.
Jenna Dufrane led BMC with 16 points followed Kirstin Barrett with 14 and Arielle Gary with nine.
For P-H, Miranda Collins netted a team-high 12 points followed by Kelsey Zenger with eight and Kelsey Putnam with seven. Nicole White and Marissa Paradis added six apiece. Kodi Perkins scored five and Cassara Cole accounted for the other three.
