BENCH WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police said Thomas M. Larose, 46. of 915 Lafayete St., Ogdensburg, turned himself in to Ogdensburg City Police Wednesday afternoon after learning a warrant had been issued for his arrest. He was transported to Massena, arraigned on the warrant that had been issued after he failed to appear for sentencing on Jan. 28 for an attempted petit larceny conviction and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $500 cash or $1,00 bond by Acting Massena Village Justice James M. Crandall.

Larose had pleaded guilty to attempted petit larceny in November. He had been charged with shoplifting $460.23 worth of merchandise from the Massena Walmart on July 8.

PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA - Village police charged Andrew S. Brewer, 21, and Trisha M. Harner, 32, both of 2 River St., Massena, with petit larceny at 8:13 p.m. Wednesday at the Massena Walmart. They allegedly walked past the store’s last point of sale without paying for $27 worth of action figures. Harner was charged with a second count of petit larceny stemming from a Nov. 18 incident when she allegedly left the store without paying for Men’s tee shirts valued at $19. They were released on appearance tickets.
