Our beloved son, Victor P. Novosel age 17 of Lisbon, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday afternoon February 5, 2014.

Calling hours will be held Sunday (Feb 9, 2014) from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with a service celebrating Victor’s life to follow at 11:00am on Monday at the funeral home.

Victor was born January 17, 1997 in Burlington, VT. At the time of his death, he was attending Lisbon Central School. Previously, he attended schools in Massena and Little River Community School in Canton. Victor loved science and had applied for acceptance into the welding program at BOCES for the coming school year.

When he was younger, he was active in Cub Scouts in Massena and archery at the Massena Rod & Gun Club. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, chocolate milk, hot sauce and his kindness to animals, especially Jack and Eddie.

Victor is survived by his mother Kathleen and her husband Wayne Hyde of Lisbon; his father Gary Novosel of Massena and his companion Mary Beth Boe and her daughter Lili of Burlington, VT; his brothers Thomas and Michael; his sister Jennifer; maternal grandparents Paul and Victoria Bergeron of Concord, VT and Paul and Sue Trexler of Seminole, FL; his “Auntie” Tanya and her husband Stuart Miles of West Burke, VT; uncles Paul Hedstrom and his wife Sue of St. Johnsbury, VT and Schuyler Hedstrom of Spain along with several cousins. His paternal grandmother Christina Novosel predeceased him.

Victor enjoyed archery, shooting airsoft guns, snowboarding, Little Ponies, hiking, playing on the internet and spending time with his family.
