William Glenn Garlough of Holland, Michigan passed away peacefully on January 31, 2014. Born in Syracuse, NY on March 27, 1924, Bill served as Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps in the Pacific theatre of operations. He graduated from Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY.

A highly respected businessman, Bill served as Vice President of four different companies and, in 1983 formed his own consulting firm, the Change Agents.

An avid, award winning bridge player, Bill was a member of the American Contract Bridge League, where he was a Life Master. He was a member of Mensa; Tau Beta Pi; a ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and a member of Third Reformed Church of Holland.

Bill is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years, Charlotte (Tanzer), loving father of William (Karen) and Robert, dear Grandfather of Jonathan (Melissa), Katherine Evereth, Jeremy (Elizabeth) and Kristen. Proud Great Grandfather of Emma, Kaitlyn, Lorelai and Olivia. Dear brother of Elizabeth (Betty) Neher, the late Charles Garlough, brother in law of Sally Dingsoyr and Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Jennifer Evereth.

A Memorial Service will be held in the spring at Freedom Village Holland.
