TWO INJURED - PIERREPONT - Canton-based state police said two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident reported at 8:31 p.m. Thursday on state Route 56 at County Route 24 in the town of Pierrepont. Troopers said the vehicles were operated by Sharon K. Hart, 71, of Potsdam and Susan E. Collins, 54, of Potsdam.



MARIJUANA POSSESSION - WESTVILLE - Malone-based state police charged Dakota C. Montour, 20, of Constable with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana (more than 25 grams and less than 2 ounces) and Adam M. Sparkman, 22, of Constable with an unlawful possession of marijuana violation at 9 p.m. Wednesday on County Route 20 in the town of Westville.



UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - Malone-based state police charged Robert F. Russell, 49, of Malone with unlawful possession of marijuana and consuming alcohol in a vehicle on a public highway and ticketed him for a seat belt violation following a traffic stop at 1:30 p.m. Thursday on County Route 4 in the town of Bombay.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - MALONE - State police from around the region investigated a number of property damage accidents on Friday. Among those:

■ Francis H. Allen, 41, of Constable and Gwen M. Johnston, 35, of Brushton were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 7:23 a.m. Thursday on County Route 8, near Premo Road, in the town of Bangor.
