HARASSMENT - POTSDAM - Village police charged Karrigan Deon, 17, of Potsdam with second-degree harassment Friday morning stemming from an investigation into an incident that took place Feb. 2 at Potsdam High School. She allegedly struck a student in face during an altercation. The victim was not injured, police said.

SEATBELT VIOLATION - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Kyle D. Hawley, 24, of Norwood for noseatbelt – driver at 2:46p.m. Friday following a traffic stop on Sandstone Drive.

UNREGISTERED VEHICLE - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Amanda M. Janack, 25, of Potsdam for operation of a vehicle with inadequate plate lamps and operation of an uninspected and unregistered motor vehicle at 11:27 p.m. Friday following a traffic stop on Main Street. Police said thestop was made after they observed the vehicle had inadequate plate lamps and during the stop it was determined the vehicle’s registration and inspection sticker had expired.
