PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM — Canton-based state police charged Deshelia R. Thomas, 38, and Brian E. Snyder, 25, both of 144 South Raquette Road, Massena, with petit larceny Friday evening stemming from an investigation into an incident that occurred last month .

Police said the duo set off the security alarm at 6 p.m. Jan. 27 at the Walmart Supercenter on Route 11 in Potsdam.

Thomas allegedly took three cellphone cases totaling $249.10, according to police.

The investigation in ongoing, police said.

Thomas and Snyder were released on appearance tickets for Potsdam Town Court.

DWI - WINTHROP - Massena-based state police charged Rhonda L. Love, 34, of 976 state Route 11C, Winthrop, with driving while intoxicated and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 11:55 p.m. Saturday on state Route 420 in the town of Stockholm. She was also ticketed for driving without headlights.

Love’s blood alcohol content was reportedly 0.14 percent. Under state law, a blood alcohol content of 0.08 or more constitutes proof of intoxication.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT - WINTHROP - Massena-based state police charged Keegan P. Smith, 22, of Brasher Falls with disorderly conduct after reporting to a suspicious person complaint at 9:51 a.m. Saturday in the town of Stockholm. The arrest was made at 10:14 a.m. on County Route 49.

MENACING - ST. REGIS FALLS - Malone-based state police charged Alissa M. Hewitt, 20, of Brushton with second-degree menacing - weapon, second-degree harassment - physical contact and endangering the welfare of a child Saturday night following an investigation into a domestic dispute reported at 11 p.m. Thursday from the town of Waverly.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - ST. REGIS FALLS - Malone-based state police charged Robert J. Derochie, 26, of St. Regis Falls with unlawful possession of marijuana at 10:25 p.m. Tuesday on the South River Road.

TWO INJURED - HOLMES HILL - Massena-based state police said two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision at 4:38 p.m. Friday on state Route 11 at Route 11C in the town of Stockholm. Troopers said the vehicles were operated by Quinn M. Urquhart, 19, of Saranac Lake and Karen L. Kain, 45, of North Lawrence.

ONE INJURED - MADRID - Canton-based state police said one person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 8:04 a.m. Friday on County Route 14, near County Route 34, in the town of Madrid. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by Denise A. Burrows, 48, of Lisbon.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - State police from around the region investigated a number of property damage accidents this past weekend.

■ Aliza Jeanne K. O’Geen, 21, of Massena at 8:38 a.m. Friday on state Route 458, near Palmer Drive, in the town of Waverly.

■ Travis M. Judware, 22, of Potsdam and Debra Lee Currington, 53, of Deklab Junction at 6:57 p.m. Friday on state Route 56, near County Route 40, in the town of Louisville.

■ Kevin L. Reynolds, 47, of Norfolk at 6:03 p.m. Friday on County Route 10, near Hardscrabble Road, in the town of Lisbon.

■ Joseph Franze, 26, of Dickinson Cemter at 4:23 p.m. Sunday on state Route 420, near County Route 38, in the town of Norfolk.

■ James G. Lauzon, 52, of St. Regis Falls at 12:06 p.m. Sunday on County Route 14, near Trim Hill Road, in the town of Waverly.
