MASSENA - With spring hopefully right around the corner, St. Lawrence Centre will host its second annual home improvement show from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 16.
Marketing Assistant Lindsey S. Breitbeck said spots for the show are filling up, but she said would like to see more local vendors coming to the mall to showcase their offerings.
The majority of the vendors we have so far are from the Malone and Adirondack area, she said. I would love to see more Massena or St. Lawrence County-based businesses.
This years show, Ms. Breitbeck said, will be scattered throughout the mall. She said last years show was contained in the arena.
Ms. Breitbeck said this is the perfect time of year for such an event with contractors looking to line up work for the spring, and homeowners receiving their tax refunds.
This time of the year is perfect because people are getting their taxes back and thinking about home improvements or possibly even buying their first home.
In addition to contractors, electricians and pavers, Ms. Breitbeck said crafters, antique dealers, modular home dealers, real estate agents, lumber yard representatives and even lenders are expected to be at the event.
Ms. Breitbeck said spaces are still available and are $25 for a 10x12 space that includes one skirted table and chairs. A limited number of spaces with access to wi-fi and electricity are also available, she said.
The deadline for vendor registration March 14.
