Mr. Lorne Sero, age 87 of Buffalo, New York passed away on Thursday, March, 6, 2014 at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Arrangements are with the Garner Funeral Service in Potsdam, N.Y. Services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Lorne Sero was born May 10, 1026 on the Deseronto Reservation in Ontario, Canada. He was had a dual citizenship with the U.S. and Canada. He served overseas for the United States Army in the 351st Infantry in WWII from 1944-1946. He then was honorably discharged. Mr. Sero worked as a department manager for the Native American Community Center in Buffalo until his retirement. He was a lifetime member of the VFW in Kenmore, N.Y. He is survived by his daughters Lorieann (Warren Everhart) King and Melissa (Michael) Connors; brother Rubin (Lavern) Sero; 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
