Elizabeth J. Scott, 83, of Ogdensburg, died on March 5, 2014, at the Riverledge Health Care & Rehab, Allen-Nichols Funeral Home, Ogdensburg is entrusted with arrangements. Calling hours will be Monday, March 10, 4 – 6:30 PM, the funeral service following at 6:30PM , Father James Shurtleff officiating. Elizabeth is survived by her sons, Terry (Margie) Scott, TX, Jack (Valerie) Scott, Heuvelton, Randy Scott, TX, Daniel Scott, TX, Larry (Jill) Scott, TX, Marcel Scott, TX, daughters, Diane (Tim) Valley, Ogdensburg, Michele (Darren) Ernst, TX, 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Raymond Scott, a daughter, Tammy Scott, grandsons, Justin Brian Ernst, and Matthew Scott, brothers, Buddy and Albert Wicks, sisters, Shirley Kendall and Dorothy Premo. Elizabeth was born on September 15, 1930, in Ogdensburg, the daughter of Henry and Melvina Recore Wicks. She married Raymond Scott on December 7, 1948 in Heuvelton, he died on November 25, 1969. Betty was an aide at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home until her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Cathedral. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed, going to casinos, playing cards, fishing, doing crosswords, animals, watching game shows, shopping and Elvis. Contributions can be made to Meals on Wheels.
