In 1960, Naomi and her husband moved to Brasher Falls, NY where they raised their family and spent many years enjoying snowmobiling, motorcycling, and tending to her incredible flower and vegetable gardens. In 1978 Naomi retired from Massena Memorial Hospital in Massena, NY after a long nursing career. In retirement, Naomi and Joe became the quintessential snowbirds, traveling southward to Florida in the winter, and spending the warm summer months at their home in Brasher. They entertained their grandchildren every summer with forts in their back yard and home cooked meals from her garden. After Joes death, Naomi decided she was ready for warm weather year-round and in 2003 made her home in Marco Island, FL. Naomi enjoyed a long and wonderful life filled with family, Yankees baseball, chatting about the latest news on television, and volunteering with her church. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Marco Island, FL, and was active in the United Methodist Church her entire life.
