Norwood-Norfolk High School recognizes Students of the Month


NORFOLK - The staff at Norwood-Norfolk Central School recently chose the Students of the Month for December. The students are selected for their academic achievements, integrity and leadership in the school and throughout the community.

Sidney Molnar is the Freshman Student of the Month for December. She is the daughter of George and Debbie Molnar of Norfolk.

Sidney enjoys hockey, soccer and softball. She also likes to read, watch movies, eat and spend time with friends. Sidney participates in Varsity Club, varsity hockey, modified soccer, softball, jazz band, band and art. Sidney’s plans for the future include going to a D1 hockey school, becoming an engineer and to play in the Olympics for hockey.

Peter Jarvis is the Sophomore Student of the Month for December. He is the son of Paul Jarvis and Sandra Prosper of Norwood.

Peter enjoys sports. He participates in varsity cross country, varsity indoor track and varsity baseball. Peter plans to attend college to become an engineer.

Donald Klock is the Junior Student of the Month. He is the son of Christina Tallman of Norfolk.

Donald enjoys football and socializing. Donald plans to get his CDL and drive trucks.

Cheyenne Myers is the Senior Student of the Month. She is the daughter of Bob and Malissa Myers of Norwood.

She enjoys figure skating and hanging out with friends. She participates in Varsity Club, and Honor Society. Cheyenne plans to attend college for dental hygiene.

Each student that was chosen received a gift card from a local restaurant. The businesses that donated are the Hotel Grande and Al Smiths of Norfolk and The Hometown Café and Lobster House of Norwood.

Also, the Teacher’s Association presents the senior student of the month with a gift card to the Clarkson Bookstore.
